Creating a Migration Batch

  1. Navigate to Batch Tasks in the left-hand navigation.
  2. Click New Batch in the top-right corner.
  3. Enter a name for the batch and optionally add a description.
  4. Click Bulk Add to begin uploading tasks.

Bulk Adding Migration Tasks

  1. In the bulk upload screen, ensure the task type is set to New Page.
  2. Upload an Excel file containing the list of URLs you want to migrate.
    • Each row should represent one source page.
  3. Select a template to apply to the migrated pages.
  4. Assign an owner and choose a project.
  5. Click Create Tasks.
Each URL will be converted into a new task with the selected template applied.

Managing Migration Tasks

Once created, tasks will appear in the batch table with the following information:
  • Task type
  • Page title or URL
  • Assigned owner
  • Status (e.g. In Review, Closed)
  • Source system or tag
You can sort, filter, and bulk update tasks as needed. Click Run Batch to start automated processing and move tasks into the next step of your content workflow.

Best Practices

  • Use clear, consistent naming for batches to help with tracking and reporting.
  • Assign the appropriate template to ensure consistent layout and formatting.
  • Review all tasks before running the batch to confirm accuracy and readiness.
