The Brands section lets you manage brand-specific guidelines and ensure your content consistently meets tone, messaging and other standards. You can create brand profiles for different products, audiences, or variations. Uploaded rules are used for automated content QA.

Creating a Brand

  1. Go to Brand Manager from the main navigation.
  2. Click New Brand in the top-right corner.
  3. Enter a name for the brand and optionally upload a logo.
  4. Click Create.
You can create separate brands for different business units, products, or target audiences (e.g. “Consumer” or “Business”).

Adding Brand Guidelines

  1. From the Brand Manager, click on a brand to open its profile.
  2. Go to the Brand Guidelines tab.
  3. Click Edit Guidelines.
  4. For each guideline:
    • Enter a rule name (e.g. “Confident Tone”)
    • Write a short description of the rule
    • Add examples of what to do (positive examples)
    • Add examples of what to avoid (negative examples)
These guidelines will be used to perform automated QA checks during content creation.

Uploading Guidelines

If you have existing brand guidelines, you can upload them directly:
  1. Go to the Upload Guidelines tab.
  2. Click to upload a PDF or CSV file (Word document upload pending)
  3. Click Process Guidelines.
Gradial will automatically extract rules from the file and populate them into the Brand Guidelines tab, where they can be reviewed and edited.

How Guidelines Are Used

Once a brand has guidelines configured:
  • AI-generated content will be automatically checked against your voice rules.
  • Suggestions and warnings will appear if content does not follow the brand rules.
  • Content teams can confidently produce messaging that aligns with brand standards.
