What Happens Next (For the Invited User)
The onboarding experience depends on your organization’s authentication method:
Username/Password Authentication
- The invited user receives an email notification
- They must click the link and reset their password to activate their account
- After setting their password, they can log in at app.gradial.com
Single Sign-On (SSO)
- No password reset is required
- The user can log in immediately using your organization’s SSO provider
- The invitation email serves as a notification only
Granting Workspace Access
After a user joins your organization, you control which workspaces they can access.
Important: Organization Admins automatically have access to all workspaces. You only need to manually add Members and Viewers.
Public vs. Private Workspaces
- Public workspaces — All organization members and viewers have automatic access
- Private workspaces — Users must be explicitly added
Adding a User to a Workspace
- From the left navigation, select the workspace
- Click Settings in the top-right corner
- Select Access Control
- Click Add Members
- Search for the user by name or email
- Select a workspace role
- Click Add
A confirmation message will appear: “Access settings updated successfully.”
