Why connect it
Dynamic creative optimization is a matrix problem. A campaign has audiences down one axis and treatments across the other, and every cell needs a defined combination of copy, asset and rotation weight. A modest campaign is 40 cells. A real one is several hundred. That matrix gets built in a spreadsheet, by hand, usually by one person who understands both the creative intent and the platform’s expected column structure. It takes days, it is nearly impossible to review, and a single misaligned asset key means a treatment silently never serves. Then the brief changes — a market is added, a treatment is cut — and the whole grid has to be rebuilt without breaking the parts that were already approved. Gradial builds the workbook from the brief, keeps it consistent as the brief changes, and validates it against your own column rules before it leaves. What Grady can do
Asset source profiles
The one piece of configuration that matters here. A profile tells Gradial what your workbooks are expected to look like — which columns must be present, and which column carries which meaning.
You can define several profiles — most organizations have more than one workbook shape — and nominate one as the default.
Set up
1
Add the integration
Go to Settings → Integrations, find Jivox under Creative & DCO, and select Connect.
2
Define at least one asset source profile
Add a profile using the settings above. If you have an existing workbook that represents your standard shape, use its column headers as the basis — that is the fastest route to a profile that matches what your team already produces.
3
Set a default profile
Nominate the profile to use when a request doesn’t name one. Profile names and IDs must be unique.
4
Build a test workbook
Ask Grady to build a workbook from a brief you have already delivered manually, then compare the two. Differences are usually a column-mapping detail, and correcting the profile once fixes every subsequent workbook.
Using it
Gradial builds, validates and exports the workbook. Loading it into the platform and launching the campaign remain your team’s steps — Gradial does not activate campaigns or change live serving.
