Gradial Workflows let you orchestrate and execute enterprise marketing work from start to finish. Upload a strategy doc or brief, and Gradial breaks it into subtasks, assigns work to agents and teammates, tracks dependencies, and ships through the tools your team already uses — Jira, your CMS, marketing automation platforms, and more.Documentation Index

What Workflows Enable
Intelligent task breakdown
Upload strategy docs, briefs, and process diagrams. Gradial parses them and decomposes the project into actionable subtasks with dependencies.
Humans and AI, side by side
Assign any step to a Gradial agent or a named teammate. The platform recommends assignments based on workflow context and org rules.
Real artifacts
Workflows produce copy docs, Excel trackers, formatted briefs, and staged pages — not just plans and recommendations.
Ticketing integration
Create and update Jira tickets automatically. Workflows can wait on external status changes before continuing downstream work.
QA, brand, and accessibility gates
Built-in checkpoints pause the workflow for review. Nothing ships until brand and compliance sign off.
Visual workflow mapping
A live graph shows every task, dependency, and blocker — what’s in progress, what’s awaiting approval, and what’s stuck upstream.
How It Works
Upload your brief or strategy doc
Attach a campaign brief, process diagram, or strategy document to a new workflow. Gradial reads it and proposes a structured task breakdown with subtasks, roles, and dependencies.
Review and adjust the plan
Review the proposed task structure before execution begins. Reassign steps, adjust dependencies, or add approval gates as needed.
Execution runs across agents and teammates
Agents execute assigned steps autonomously — drafting content in your CMS, building emails in marketing automation platforms, staging landing pages, and generating documents. Human steps route to the assigned teammate with context and artifacts attached.
Approve at checkpoints
The workflow pauses at QA checkpoints and notifies approvers. Review the artifact, approve or request changes, and the workflow continues.
Common Use Cases
Campaign launches. Break a full campaign brief into CMS pages, emails, social copy, and asset requests — each routed to the right agent or teammate, with dependencies enforced so nothing goes live out of sequence. Site-wide operations. Run bulk content updates, rebrands, or localization across dozens or hundreds of pages under a single workflow plan. See Site Search & Find-and-Replace for site-wide content operations. Multi-team approvals. Route legal, brand, and accessibility review in the right order, with workflow state tracked in one place instead of email threads. Jira-driven execution. Create and update Jira tickets as subtasks complete. Gradial waits on external ticket status changes before advancing downstream steps.Dual-Track Approvals
Workflows support two approval tracks running in parallel:| Track | When to use |
|---|---|
| AI reviewers | Speed — automated QA, brand rule checks, and accessibility validation before human review |
| Human reviewers | Judgment — brand, legal, compliance, or stakeholder sign-off where a human decision is required |
